FormscanBy Tom Weekes - MITCHOUKA has found another winning opportunity here despite shouldering top weight. He has twice been placed at Graded level and while he clearly lacks a gear to be near Triumph Hurdle standard, he should be able to give away weight and win this. Mastermind is himself useful and was beaten by the selection, on identical terms, over CD last month. Mastermind has improved to win since and while he should be able to give the selection a solid race, has 9lbs to find with him on official ratings and might struggle to turns form on their fourth meeting. Alohamora was a good winner on hurdles debut at Catterick recently and while she could progress further and did win easily at Catterick, that form of the beaten horses is nothing out of the ordinary and she faces a tougher task today. Randalls Ur Poet was denied late-on over CD recently and has some place claims again today while Big Ego ran a nice race on hurdles debut at Gowran recently but also probably needs to improve a bit to win today.
