FormscanBy Michael Graham - STONEHALL JACK is in good form and will relish the quick ground conditions. His trainer has commented before that the key to him is good ground or firm if he could get it. It is certainly going to be fast this evening. He has won over three miles one before (in Kilbeggan last August). A win at Tramore in April interspersed two runner-up efforts in Thurles and Kilbeggan. He is climbing the weights but has to have every chance of defying a mark of 115 here. Thomond has won twice on good firm ground albeit in 2014 and 2013. Cheekpieces go on for the first time. He is a former course winner and should be very competitive in this field. The 6/1 available at the time of writing will appeal to many each-way players.
