After race at Dundalk Wed, 12th Apr, 2017 (1st)

We left him very very fresh for today. Thankfully I'm training for a gentleman and he allowed me to get him beat today if I had gotten it wrong,. further . I warned him that I had changed the training and he was probably coming here 15 kilo heavier than when he last won. Because he was thriving I didn't want to interfere with his training. It worked out and maybe I'm figuring him out a little bit more and there is more improvement in him. I can't wait to get him on the turf as I think he might be a bit better with a bit of juice in the ground.

After race at Dundalk Fri, 24th Mar, 2017 (1st)

It's taken me a while to figure him out exactly,. He can be a bit soft at times and he's had issues with the stalls and things like that. It's taken us a while to iron them out but he's slowly gaining in confidence. I think seven is his trip on this surface and maybe a straight six with a bit of juice in the ground on turf. I'd imagine he'll win a couple more of these races and he should be competitive on turf as well. I feel he might be a little bit better with an ease in the ground over a straight six. I'm delighted to train a winner for the owner, he's a gentleman, and hopefully there will be plenty more to come.

After race at Navan Fri, 11th Jul, 2014 (1st)

He was the best horse in the race. You have to think the trainer was running him over the wrong trip. Hopefully that is the turning point. Colin said he was different horse riding him like that. He won a Scurry Handicap so you can forgive me for thinking he had a bit of speed. It was liking he running away from something and quitting. I said to the owner (David Spratt) before we pulled the plug on him that we step him up and drop him in. Today was about retiring him if it all went wrong. We will try and find something similar now.

After race at Curragh Sat, 29th Jun, 2013 (1st)

The horses are in great order at the moment. The fellow is owned by David Spratt who is a good pal of mine but he is not too well at the moment, so this is a good tonic for him. We knew we wouldn't get into the big races at Royal Ascot with him so we decided to aim him at this. He can go anywhere from six furlongs to a mile. The penny has not really dropped with him and he will learn a lot from today. He he has little or no racing done.
