After race at Cork Sun, 20th Oct, 2013 (1st)
I'm delighted he won but he had to work hard for it and I thought he'd have won easier. We always knew he was better going left-handed and Andrew (Leigh) said he was hanging and not jumping or travelling as well as he usually does.
After race at Listowel Thu, 19th Sep, 2013 (1st)
He had a good run the last day and has won round here before so we were pretty confident he would run well. He stays well and is a real galloper. He could go to Tipperary at the end of the month for a graded novice chase then he'll have a bit of a break and we'll freshen him up for a run at Christmas. He enjoys a cut. We started him off early in the season hoping it would be a wet summer like last year. We were running him on ground that was a bit quick. Hopefully he'll climb the ladder a bit.
After race at Navan Sun, 16th Dec, 2012 (1st)
He really deserved that. If you look back through his form he has never run a bad race,. He'll probably only have one or two more runs this season as I can't wait for next year over fences - he's a brilliant jumper. I'd say the plan will be to bring him back good and early over fences. Andrew gets on with him really well. He's not the easiest horse to ride and can mess around and whip around at the start. This was our Derby day today.
After race at Naas Sat, 29th Oct, 2011 (1st)
He surprised me a bit today to be honest. I knew he was a nice horse but today was just a stepping-stone to a four-year-old Listed race here in two weeks time (the Fishery Lane Hurdle on November 12th). I thought that he'd need that run for the experience and it is brilliant that he did that. He'll definitely come back here in a fortnight's time.
After race at Listowel Fri, 23rd Sep, 2011 (1st)
We think an awful lot of him. He is well above average. He came out of his last race so well that we decided to run him here today. He is only a 4yo and is still very weak. He will have a small break now. He will then go for a winners of one before going for some of the good novice hurdles. My brother in-law Anthony Callan bred him and my mother Maureen owns him.
