FormscanBy Donal Murphy - ACCLAMATIO has probably been trained with Galway in mind for some time now and he looks primed for a big run. The Tony Martin trained six-year-old ran a fine race on his return to action at Bellewstown earlier this month, finishing fourth in the race won by Elegant Lass. He since put in another solid performance on the level at Leopardstown last week and back over flights now off a mark of just 95, a bold bid looks likely. Born By The Sea has been no worse than fourth in four trips to Ballybrit and he is given second preference. A good third to Mt Leinster here on Monday, the Paul Gilligan trained gelding should be able to make his presence felt. Ego Des Mottes, for Willie Mullins and JP McManus, is of obvious interest on his handicap debut, while Millyinthemiddle is another leading contender. Others for the shortlist in this ultra-competitive contest are Bellewstown winner Eagle Moon, Ruinous for Gavin Cromwell and the Gordon Elliott duo of Enzani and Silver Star.
