FormscanBy Michael Graham - MONTEGO BAY has shown enough this season to shed her maiden tag. She was keen in a fillies' maiden at Leopardstown last month but kept on for fourth, and then stepped up on that effort to chase home the winner of a fillies' handicap in the Curragh. Shahaada, a daughter of Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Awtaad, showed definite promise on debut when getting up for second at the Curragh in August. She reappeared in Dundalk last month and was a beaten favourite in fourth but should be fitter after that. Wisteria Girl is a potential improver from a mid-division finish at the Curragh in September behind subsequent Group One winner Van Gogh. Golden Lyric has finished runner-up in her last three outings in Dundalk but wasn't at her best on rain-softened ground when unplaced at Naas in October.
