FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Navan's Stewards hauled in FRERE TUCK's connections following an eye-catching run in December and with the addition of a first-time tongue-tie today, can win. A debut AQPS bumper at Argentan in June 2018, he returned following an 892 days absence when friendless in the market at Navan and was effectively eased for much of the home straight. The stewards later noted explanations that the horse 'made a noise all the way up the home straight' and being open to oodles of improvement, FRERE TUCK should comfortably over-turn a 12.5L gap between he and today's rival Lifetime Ambition. Colonel Mustard showed good ability in two bumpers and ran a solid race on jumps debut when chasing home a subsequent Grade 1 winner at Down Royal in October. The form of that race received another notable boost with the 18L third winning twice subsequently and also being open to progression, should give the selection a real race. Hurricane Cliff has shown useful form on the flat and in two runs over hurdles but possibly needs to show some more to win. Lifetime Ambition failed to win in two bumpers but has shown solid form in three maiden hurdles and while he has proven ability, is vulnerable to useful types and also drops back to two miles, which isn't ideal. Don Diablo needs to improve on his bumper form while Excelsior returns from a 1,015 days absence having won his only previous flat race, over two miles, at Saumur in 2018 although is notable with Jack Kennedy on board.%0A
