FormscanBy Tom Weekes - GRAND BORNAND is another notable Irish jumps recruit who makes his hurdles debut for Willie Mullins and can win. His only previous run was when winning a French AQPS Bumper at north-western venue Senonnes-Pouance in June 2019 and while absent since, has joined Mullins and Ricci and, in common with the opening race selection, makes his debut at a good time of year, suggesting his preparation in recent months may have gone to plan. Thedevilscoachman is another useful hurdles debutante having won a Naas bumper in January. The form of that Naas race is reasonably strong (the third-placed horse won subsequently) and Thedevilscoachman should figure prominently on jumps debut. Takerengo has a rating of 120 and is a useful flat performer but is vulnerable to smart types here. Carrolls Cottage won a point-to-point at Dromahane 28 days ago and while the drop in trip is an unknown, could still get involved.
