FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Mark Walsh is on board Entoucas in the same colours but, nevertheless, ALFA MIX gets the vote. He did well in competitive handicap hurdles at this track last season before running a bit too keenly when finishing seventh in the Coral Cup. That was still a good effort and Gavin Cromwell’s charge has the size for this discipline. Entoucas was a useful novice hurdler and was beaten by a smart horse when second on his chasing bow at Tipperary. He’s clearly a leading contender along with former classy bumper performer Blackbow. It was a surprise that he failed to win in four attempts over hurdles but he could do well at this game. Defi Bleu had good form over hurdles two seasons back and is not ruled out despite being out of action for over 18 months.
