FormscanBy Donal Murphy - On a mark of 151, SAINT ROI is the one to beat. As short as 14/1 in a place for the 2021 Champion Hurdle, the Willie Mullins trained five-year-old is very much exciting prospect for the season ahead. Having justified favouritism in the County Hurdle on his last start, he steps into graded company for the first time now and it'll be disappointing if he fails to deliver. Beacon Edge appears the main danger. Just denied in a Grade 2 at Naas on his penultimate start, the Noel Meade trained bay has done little wrong in six career starts to date. The versatile Chosen Mate was well-beaten when last tried over flights, but he since won the level and is capable of making his presence felt here. Djingle reverts to hurdles for the first time since joining John Queally and it'll be interesting to see how he fares.
