FormscanBy Tom Weekes - MAKER OF KINGS makes his debut for a new yard here having left Gordon Elliott and might be able to score in this ordinary maiden. He showed useful form in maidens last year and while much of his form was on easy surfaces (Zoffany's progeny tend to do well on soft), he did run well on good ground on debut and is proven over today's trip in a winneable race. Jungle Cove is rated 90, and was once rated 96 following a sixth placing in the Futurity last year, and while he didn't run to those figures in two maidens subsequently, they were on testing ground conditions and he might appreciate today's livelier ground. Ming Warrior has shown ability in two maidens but was beaten by Jungle Cove on his latest run while Emiyn wasn't beaten too far when he ran in March but needs to improve to win this. St James's Square didn't show much at Naas last year and while it is mildly interesting to see him race today under Seamie Heffernan, he is now tried in first-time blinkers which need to spark improvement. Bligh was well supported at Gowran on his latest start but was well enough held while Sounds Of Spring ran a nice race on debut and could get involved today. Newcomer Radical Approach is a half-brother to winner Cuban Hope but could ideally prefer slightly further in time.
