FormscanBy Michael Graham - Noel Meade's HES A HARDY BLOKE was headed at the finish of a bumper in Navan this month which makes him the one to beat. This former point-to-point winner holds a race-fitness advantage on his main rival Don Diablo. The latter is a solid opponent, though. A neck second in a point-to-point for Colin Bowe was a more than promising start and he filled the same spot for Gordon Elliott in a bumper at Galway in October last year. The horse that comfortably took his scalp there (who is trained by Meade) has proven to be speedy enough to win a maiden on the flat. Double Jubilee finished second to a wide-margin winner in Listowel and looks best of the rest.
