FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Nick Williams took this prize three years ago with Coo Star Sivola and could strike again with ONE FOR THE TEAM. He needs to leave behind a disappointing display at Doncaster but better ground will suit and he looks on a nice mark on the basis of some smart form in novice chases. Aye Right was well ahead of the selection when runner-up at Doncaster and his runner-up effort in the Ladbrokes Trophy also gives him strong claims. Happygolucky had good course form over hurdles and won a novice chase at this venue in December. He lacks experience but there could be plenty more to come. Last year’s Kim Muir winner Milan Native has been below-par in recent outings but, having had wind surgery, a return to form can’t be ruled out. Twice placed in this contest, the admirable Vintage Clouds makes his fifth successive appearance in the race and appeals each-way in first-time headgear.
