FormscanBy Michael Graham - SONNY JOHN can go one better from his runner-up finish in Limerick. That was also a ladies’ bumper that he contested and he ran a cracking race for an 80/1 shot when just giving best in the final furlong. The winner of that race has since won a maiden hurdle in Tramore. Sonny John finished a place in front of Erins Benefit who comes back for more. The latter has since finished second in a Tramore bumper and is going the right way. Not What It Seems, with Lisa O’Neill on board, looks to be the pick of the Gordon Elliott pair. He clearly ran into one when beaten 13 lengths into second at Tramore, but is likely to be much closer in this contest. O’Neill has won two of the last three renewals of this race.
