FormscanBy Tom Weekes - KILCRUIT can turn Cheltenham placings with Sir Gerhard and win. Sir Gerhard got the run of the Cheltenham Bumper, making all, with KILCRUIT getting caught flat-footed before staying on well to the line. As a result KILCRUIT might have underperformed slightly on the day and while a stronger pace will suit, the memory of his awesome Dublin Festival win is still fresh. Sir Gerhard is Patrick Mullins' pick, having also shown brilliance in his career but KILCRUIT can turn the half-length deficit. The form of O'Toole's impressive Fairyhouse win has taken a few knocks and while he looks a very capable type, faces a big step up in grade today. Lake Winnipesaukee took the wrong course when travelling well in front at Leopardstown 52 days ago but faces a much stiffer test today. Eric Bloodaxe was a smart type last season but is long absent. Ramillies is tried in a first-time tongue-tie and needs to improve while Jamie Codd, who has ridden 41 winners for Willie Mullins, is subbed today and rides Ardla, a good CD winner but well held at Listowel in September.
