FormscanBy Tom Weekes - YOUNG TED is a capable type who can gain a belated first hurdle win. He showed good form in bumpers (he finished sixth in the Punchestown Champion Bumper) and while he failed to win in six subsequent hurdles, did run to a good standard in each and while he lacks a recent outing, he is proven on most grounds and is a proven stayer in a very winneable race today. Cardboard Gangster has the advantage of a nice recent outing in a similar race here earlier this month. He probably doesn't have the ability of the selection but should give him a race with race-fitness a big advantage. Criq Rock is a dual bumper winner who showed useful form in Britain but was well enough held on his two most recent runs, which followed a 814 days layoff. Buck Rogers (his namesake won the 1999 John Durkan Chase for Victor Bowens and Ken Whelan) was well beaten in two good bumpers last December but being a half-brother to Cheltenham Bumper winner Fayonagh, and from the family of Solerina, could improve over time and might also be suited by this step up in trip.%0A%0A
