FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Aidan O'Brien's NOAH WEBSTER has been very in-and-out in his career thus far but appears to have taken a step forward since being sent, of all things, hurdling in recent times. The fact he has been retained in the top Flat yard is a pointer in itself and having recently attained a mark in the mid 110s over hurdles, looks to be progressive. He has shown bits of Flat form in the past but certainly needs his A game today. Carried is just 2lbs higher than when winning a Rated Race over course and distance last month. The booking of Jane Mangan is a positive, he appears to stay well and has competed well at this level. Cottesloe is another CD winner and looks a consistent type. His rider claims a valuable 5lbs and the horse has been in good form running from similar marks recently. Papa's Way won over slightly shorter here last week and appears to be progressive. The form of that maiden was quite ordinary though and he might be best watched on his first handicap. Mojito Royal was once rated 107 but is a shadow of that horse in recent times. He has fallen down the ratings but disappointed over hurdles latest and is still without a win for three and a half years. Protaras has come down the weights but was worringly out of form recently.
