FormscanBy Gary Carson - GRANDMASTER FLASH would probably have been expected to win his maiden before now but this looks a nice opportunity to get his head in front. He posted a couple of promising runner-up efforts here last winter but was well held in a few turf runs after. His last couple of outings in handicap company back on the all-weather were solid efforts and off a mark of 85 he should be capable of accounting for these rivals now. Hannon looks the danger returning to the level. He ran well in a Leopardstown maiden in August when chasing home Quote and is entitled to play a big part in this grade of race. Proxy made little impression in heavy ground at Gowran last time but had run well at Cork previously and is one to watch on her all-weather debut. She should be capable of picking up a maiden here during the winter.
