FormscanBy Gary Carson - RUSSIAN SOUL may have found his welter-burden of 10st5lb in handicap company a bit much at Navan last time and this type of contest is more suitable. The fact that he actually gets weight here from Bubbly Bellini is a big plus and there is a significant 8lb turnaround from the terms on which they met at Navan. Bubbly Bellini ran another cracker then and the fact that he comes here in form is a plus for him as is his liking for the course. Russian Soul had previously won over six at Dundalk when beating Balmont Mast. He won well that day and although Balmont Mast has a 5lb pull now he may have to settle for minor honours again. My Good Brother makes his return to action here and would need to be on top form given that he's the worst treated of the quartet at the weights.
