FormscanBy Gary Carson - RASHAAN looks pretty solid here and should prove hard to beat. He had his finest hour when beating Apple's Jade here in a Grade 2 contest last November and is a classy performer on this kind of ground. He comes into the race in winning form having scored on the level at Clonmel early last month. He has been campaigned mainly at two miles over timber but given the way he stays on the Flat this trip should be fine. Marinero looks the pick of the Gigginstown pair and on ratings he's the one that should give the selection most to do. His form over fences tailed off a bit towards the end of last season but after a little break he may be able to perform better now. Fagan was a decent animal a couple of seasons ago, finishing second in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. He has a bit to prove having pulled up over fences on his return to action at Fairyhouse back in January.
