FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks a wide open contest and I'm going to take a chance on the David Wachman trained handicap debutant JUST AS WELL. This daughter of Galileo put in a decent performance on her penultimate start at Fairyhouse before disappointing last time out at Limerick. She cost 185,000 guineas as a yearling and her dam is a half-sister to the great High Chaparral. She is fitted with a visor for the first time here and with Fran Berry in the saddle she can be expected to go close. Andrew Oliver has two interesting runners in the line-up. He bought Spring Focus from Jim Bolger for 14,000 guineas at Tattersalls earlier this month, while Crown Of Aragon was purchased from UK based trainer Denis Coakley for 15,000 guineas at the same sale. Both won last time out and they look leading contenders here. Relentless Pursuit disappointed on his last outing and it will be interesting to see how he gets on here stepping up in trip. The consistent Crafty Codger is another to consider for Kevin Prendergast while Windward Passage will be bidding to get back on track after finished a well-beaten sixth on his last start.
