FormscanBy Alan Magee - GRAND PARTNER landed a maiden here last summer on his only previous start under Flat rules, and there may be some juice in his mark of 81. The nine-year-old gelding has progressed into a useful handicap hurdler over the past few seasons, and was successful here earlier this year. Prince Charmin’ reverts to the Flat after scoring on his latest two hurdle starts including when very weak in the market at Cork this month, and rates a serious threat. Alcander is another dual-purpose gelding to consider. Fran Flood’s charge was well-backed when making his Flat handicap debut at Cork last time and only just failed to justify the confidence. Ligeti scored twice at Dundalk in February but was soundly beaten when switching back to the turf at Clonmel last time. Cheek-pieces are now replaced by blinkers.
