FormscanBy Gary Carson - It wouldn't be a surprise if this came down to the two French imports and the vote goes to SHARJAH given the record of Willie Mullins with horses sourced from there. This gelding was a winner at Deauville and placed in a couple of conditions races at good tracks after that so looks to have a fair bit of ability. Noel Meade gives Dis Donc his first start on these shores and the Gigginstown purchase is another interesting recruit. He won two bumpers in France and the latest was a Grade 3 contest. Great Trango looks the best of those with hurdles form under their belt after two solid placed efforts over timber. He ran well on the Flat here earlier in the month and the fact that he has proven himself on very testing ground looks an asset. English Pale ran well to finish third at Clonmel last time but this will probably turn out to be a stronger race and more is needed.
