FormscanBy Alan Magee - Moving On Up should give Charlie Swan a good chance of signing off his training career with a winner. The Mastercraftsman filly went close in a nursery over course and distance last month, and Donnacha O’Brien again claims a valuable 7lb. However SHEEBA looks an interesting contender on his handicap debut. The Nayef gelding showed promise in good maiden company at the Curragh and Navan last year, and again it looked a decent maiden for the track when fourth to Charlie Bear here earlier this month. That experience on the Polytrack will stand him in good stead here, and an initial mark of 76 appears competitive. Showcard landed a Goodwood maiden for Gary Moore last year, and made a successful start for present connections when beating Surrey Pink here a fortnight ago. That was over six furlongs and, while neither may be particularly suited by this step up in trip, Johnny Feane’s charge appeared the stronger in the closing stages.
