He opened his jumping account at Limerick in March despite a couple of sloppy jumps late on. He picked up again well in the closing stages after getting headed on the run-in and was value for more than his winning margin. This better ground should suit now and he looks capable of defying a mark of 118. Ballyegan Hero also won last time out, when claiming a Tramore maiden hurdle. He has to carry top-weight now on his handicap debut but looks a decent sort who can improve further on this ground. Admiral Brian has been knocking on the door this spring and could reach the frame again while similar remarks also apply to Rue Hill.
