The David Marnane-trained winner is one of the most progressive horses to run here this winter, so a repeat of that form should be good enough. The War Front gelding has eight career wins, with the latest three of those coming over this course and distance. Hit The Bid did Darren Bunyan proud in Dubai on Thursday, and Grey Danube is bidding for his ninth success on the Polytrack. However all his previous wins have come over shorter trips and the veteran son of Verglas, who likes to force the pace, appeared to find the mile too far here before Christmas. Reckless Lad is a real Dundalk stalwart with seven wins at the track including five over a mile, while Carried has done all his winning here over longer trips.
