FormscanBy Gary Carson - RIVELLINO looks the safest bet here. He has run well in handicap company on his last two outings here and as a previous course and distance winner this drop back a furlong doesn't look a big issue. He looks the pick at these weights, particularly as he has solid recent form coming into the race. French import Mister Dancer is a bit of a dark horse. He has been given a mark of 89, which is clear best here, but hasn't been seen since September 2015 so it's hard to know what to expect from him. Another French import, Iron Ryan, was well backed on his debut for Lee Smyth at Lingfield last month but was well held in the end. He was rated 80 that day, however, and dropping in grade now he's not without a chance. Seanie is a bit wrong at the weights with the selection but looks capable of running a big race in this company. Your Pal Tal has been a good servant for connections, and won over in Lingfield last month, but he has a bit to find at these weights.
