FormscanBy Donal Murphy - TIME TO INSPIRE is a very interesting contender here, and he should give a good account of himself with Finian Maguire in the saddle. The lightly-raced Dermot Weld trained gelding won his maiden by ten lengths at last year's Festival, and Weld said after that success: "He stays well and was the right horse for the race. He should make a lovely four-year-old. He has a good action and the ground is drying. He had two very good runs and should progress as the year goes on. He's a big baby still and will be a lovely horse next year. He could be a very good staying horse." He steps up to two miles for the first time now, and a recent spin at the Curragh should leave him spot on for this assignment. It is also worth noting he is a half-brother to Group 2 winner Forgotten Rules, who was third in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot in 2015. Jessica and Kate Harrington won this race last year with Modem, and they are represented by Weather Watch this time round. The consistent son of Hurricane Run should give a good account of himself here, while other leading contenders are Synopsis, Benkei, Asbury Boss, and Ted Veale.
