FormscanBy Gary Carson - CHASING TOMORROW stayed on nicely on his debut at Dundalk and looked like he would learn plenty for the experience. The form of that race has received a boost since with the runner-up scoring impressively at Cork. The benefit of a run is also a big plus at this time of year. The selection's trainer Michael O'Callaghan will no doubt be interested in the Dermot Weld newcomer Caribbean Spring having trained his mother Bogini. She was a sharp sort, winning four times over sprint trips, including as a juvenile, and her Dark Angel colt is definitely one to note. Of course the Ballydoyle debutant deserves respect but Stone Mountain will no doubt benefit from the outing and being a half-brother to Hebridean he may appreciate a bit further. The Kevin Prendergast-trained colt Munshid cost €240,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to four winners. Of the other newcomers Jim Bolger's Escondida is also worth noting in the market. The Vocalised colt is out of Maidin Moch, who wasn't a bad sort and won a couple of handicaps.
