FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks a tricky handicap and it is probably safest to side with the Dermot Weld trained runner TIMIYAN. This son of Ghostzapper wasn't beaten far on his penultimate start at Tipperary but he then disappointed on his next outing at Fairyhouse. Making his handicap debut now and wearing a visor for the first time a much improved performance can be expected from the Aga Khan owned gelding. Primogeniture would be the selection if this race was run anywhere but Galway. He appreciated the step up in trip when winning at Fairyhouse on his last start and there should be plenty more to come from him. Annus Mirabilis got off the mark at Leopardstown last week and he should give a good account of himself on his handicap debut while Lady Clitico and Kabjoy are two others who can't be ruled out.
