FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ROOM TO ROAM has shown a good level of ability in two hurdles runs todate and might get off the mark on his third attempt here. He ran with promise when well beaten by a subsequent Grade 1 winner at Leopardstown over Christmas, when he beat Pete So High by 1.25L (today they meet on identical terms), and ran another solid race when third at Naas recently. All Pete So High's flat form, for Richard Hannon, had been on a sound surface but he has taken well to testing ground in three hurdle starts todate and the form of his recent Thurles win was also boosted nicely with the runner-up winning easily subsequently, albeit when upped in trip. However, Pete So High did have one previous hurdle outing to his name prior to that important Christmas meeting with ROOM TO ROAM. Mastermind is the only horse with an official rating, and thus the only horse known not to be officially 'wrong' at the weighs, and also has winning maiden hurdle form. He has failed to cope with better company since his maiden hurdle win and was well held at Fairyhouse latest, although he now steps down in grade for this. Schindlers Ark was awarded his Cork win in the stewards' room and while he is claimer ridden today, might struggle to win on overall form.

Penalties - Performances before 6th February for every 1lb above the rating of 120 1lb extra; On or after 6th February for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 130 or less.
