Marshall Jennings' owner, Fiona Carmichael, had a winner with a runner from the stable recently when St Brelades Bay got the job done at the Curragh on Monday. She may have to settle for a share of minor honours now, and stable jockey Colm O'Donoghue prefers the claims of Pincheck. He won in these colours the other night at Sligo on Rickrack, and ahead of a big day at Deauville on Sunday when their star Alpha Centauri attempts to dazzle again in the Prix Jacques le Marois, O'Donoghue can limber up successfully aboard Pincheck. We haven't seen the four-year-old son of Invincible Spirit since May but that'll hardly be any inconvenience coming from these quarters.
