FormscanBy Gary Carson - Stepping up in trip has brought about plenty of improvement from WINGINGIT and there looks more to come from the Noel Meade-trained filly. She opened her account when attempting ten furlongs for the first time at Navan and it was no surprise to see her going up to a mile-and-a-half next time given the style of her victory. She was impressive at Leopardstown, winning eased down, and was definitely good value for the 9lb rise she got for that victory. She's in off a nice weight here and can land a big pot for connections. Jim Bolger has won two of the last three runnings of this and relies on the maiden Clongowes. He has some solid form in the book and Bolger did win this with a maiden in Wexford Town in 2014 so he has to be respected. Tilly's Chilli comes into the race looking for four-timer and has been in great form so far this season. She has gone up 20lb since winning at Roscommon and tackles a mile-and-a-half for the first time but there no doubt she's progressive and could give another big show. The two top-weights Finn McCool and Percy bring pattern form into the race and there shouldn't be much between them. Percy had his rival just over half a length behind when third to Grandee at Leopardstown last time and the pair don't look badly treated off 99 tried in handicap company. They set a decent standard in a good renewal of the race.
