Rachael Blackmore sticks with Native Speaker who has a nice low weight in this. The Court Cave gelding was no match for Built By Ballymore when the pair met at Limerick over Christmas but enjoys a hefty pull at the weights this time. That rival was well-backed for the Coral Cup at Cheltenham recently but faded in the closing stages to finish well-beaten. He is capable of a lot better and can't be ruled out here.
An extended handicap hurdle for five years old and upwards that have not won a hurdle race before 30th April 2023 that are EBF eligible and that have run at least three times in hurdle races up to and including 26th March 2024 and have not run as a two or three yr old under any Rules of Racing and have not won a steeplechasePenalties - Winner of a hurdle race or hurdle races after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
