FormscanBy Gary Carson - A decent contest and CAPTAIN CARLETON may prove the answer. He ran a cracker on the level at the Curragh recently when just collared close home and looks capable of landing a nice handicap hurdle off this mark. He ran really well in a competitive event at Leopardstown back in February when fourth to Sort It Out and seems to appreciate this quicker ground. Top-weight Rawnaq is a smart sort and won a decent conditions event at Down Royal on his last outing. He's a previous course and distance winner and given that he rarely runs a bad race he has to be a player. Rock On Fruity won as he was entitled to at Kilbeggan last time and there looks more to come from him. He was well held on his only other handicap start but that was on much softer ground and he seems to appreciate a quicker surface. Eight Till Late suffered a few traffic problems at Punchestown last month and may get closer now. Rupert Lamb represents strong connections but would need to step up on recent efforts while Tempo Mac got turned over under a penalty at Wexford and has more on his plate now off a revised mark.
