FormscanBy Donal Murphy - It's difficult to look beyond BENIE DES DIEUX. The daughter of Great Pretender won this race twelve months ago and was in command when falling at the last in the OLBG sponsored Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham last month. Thankfully she came away from that incident unscathed, and should be able to bounce back to winning ways now. Willie Mullins trains the selection and he is also represented by Stormy Ireland and Good Thyne Tara, who were second and third in the aforementioned Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham. Both are rated 145, even though Stormy Ireland has finished ahead of Good Thyne Tara on the four previous occasions they have met. The Nicky Henderson trained With Decision is the most interesting contender in the line-up. She failed to win a point-to-point in three starts for Maureen Danagher, but was successful on her racecourse debut at Towcester, before following-up in impressive fashion at Newton Abbot. That latest success came just over a year ago, and while this is a very tough ask, she will still pick up some nice prize-money by even managing to finish the race. Tintagle completes the line-up, and will need to produce a career best performance if she is to make an impact.
