The point-to-point winner was one of the leading fancies for the Cheltenham Bumper following an impressive debut under rules 12 months ago on the Hatton’s Grace card at Fairyhouse and, despite winning another bumper at Gowran Park, connections decided to pull the plug on last season after a slight setback. He reportedly jumps hurdles well. Gun Digger looked a staying type when finishing well to take a Thurles bumper last month, while Impact Factor is another interesting newcomer to hurdles having also shown promise in a couple of bumper outings last term. Beyond The Law won a point-to-point earlier this year when making most at Nenagh, and appears the pick of those with hurdle form having beaten all bar West Coast Time in a Gowran Park maiden.
