FormscanBy Donal Murphy - LIGHTENING BULLET might be able to make it two from two in this competitive handicap. The Jim Bolger trained New Approach colt was a good winner on debut at Leopardstown in August, and the fourth and fifth in that race have both won since. The selection makes his handicap debut now off a mark of 94, and he should give a good account of himself with Kevin Manning in the saddle. Maneen won twice earlier in the season, but disappointed when tried at Group 3 level at the Curragh in May. He again disappointed in a Listed race at Listowel last month, but back in handicap company now a much improved performance can be expected. Master Ring was a good winner on his Irish debut at Limerick earlier this month, and he looks a leading contender, while others to consider are the Willie Mullins trained Renetti, the consistent My Direction, and the Aidan O'Brien trained Bravery. Clonard Street, who was once rated 108, remains a horse to keep on side, and it'll be interesting to see if any money comes for him.
