FormscanBy Gary Carson - The Flying Five has attracted a decent field for it's first running as a Group 1 and the vote goes to DIFFERENT LEAGUE. The French import hasn't quite hit the heights expected since joining Ballydoyle but may be able to change that now. She famously beat Alpha Centauri at Royal Ascot as a juvenile and was also placed twice at Group 1 level. She has been held up in her starts this year and ran on strongly when third at Tipperary last time over a sharp five. The stiffer five here and a fast pace should suit and she may be able to blossom on the big stage now. She was only a short-head behind Havana Grey when the pair were second and third in the Prix Morny last season and that rival is ante post favourite for this race after a good run to finish fifth in the Nunthorpe last time. Hit The Bid finished just in front of the selection at Tipperary last time and looks another big player. He was making his return from a break then having had a campaign earlier in the year in Dubai and is entitled to improve for the run.
