FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SAVANNAH STORM was a smart flat performer and can get off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles here. His only flat win came in a Roscommon maiden but he has been placed at Listed level and has shown enough on his two initial hurdle efforts to suggest he can win today. He was well held by a potentially smart horse at Navan last weekend but this looks a lesser contest. Uisce Beatha showed useful form when second on debut in a bumper at Thurles in November and while absent since, could play a part today. However he is likely to improve for this hurdles debut run and Mark Walsh has seemingly sided with debutante Whatchamacallit. Whatchamacallit, a E60,000 3yo purchase, is the first foal from a bumper winning dam and has a solid jumps pedigree but might able benefit from this debut run. Fred The Foot won a Hexham bumper last summer but needs to show more than on his two latest hurdle runs.
