FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - When we think of Kilfeacle point-to-point winners in recent times, Back In Focus and First Lieutentant come to mind, and it was hoped that the 2013 winner from the County Tipperary meeting, AZORIAN, might progress along similar lines. It hasn't all gone to plan for Eoin Griffin's charge so far, but the Westerner gelding is still only seven, and you'd have to fancy him against this class of opponent. This is only his third chase start, and Griffin gave him a hurdles run, off a break, at Clonmel last time. One would have thought that Azorian would now be well-placed to produce his best, off a reasonable effort when third behind Ttebbob, at Powerstown Park. It'll be interesting to see what the market makes of Riverside City (his mark has slid from 118, down to its current 109), with Paul Carberry up for the first time. Big Kern and Rudolf look the next most likely pair.
