FormscanBy Michael Graham - Former Grade Three hurdle winner BLOW BY BLOW starts out over fences and is hard to oppose at a short price. He certainly knows where the winning post is with six victories in his 12 racecourse appearances. He landed three bumpers including a Grade One at Punchestown and then three hurdle races - a maiden, a Grade Three and the Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival. He reached a mark of 152 over the smaller obstacles and Gordon Elliott was quoted in Navan last December as saying he is going to be a chaser for this year. Chateau Conti hasn't completed the course in his last couple of novice chases but he was only 3/1 and 4/1 for those contests. He achieved a mark of 142 over hurdles and a clear round ought to see him in the prize money.
