FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SEVERUS might be able to add this to his recent Limerick win, despite being drawn wide in 12 and incurring an 8lbs hike for the win. He seems fairly ground-versatile, in that he likes an ease, and is again ridden by his 7lbs claimer with the Limerick form being subsequently boosted as the runner-up easily won a Claimer subsequently. The Mcgregornator is also drawn wide in 13 but also comes here fit and well having won at Naas on Wednesday. He is 3lbs ‘wrong’ for today’s race under his 6lbs mandatory penalty (his revised rating is 80), but is helped by having his rider’s full 7lbs claims today as opposed to his 4lbs claim in his apprentice race at Naas. Silverkode won his maiden here recently but that was over 5f and he is possibly best watched on handicap debut here while Captain Power likes an ease and comes here fit and well and likely to win from his rating.
