FormscanBy Tom Weekes - DANEQUEST hasn't to set the racing world alight thus far but has conditions very much in his favour here despite carrying top weight. He has failed to win in ten start since his April 2014 handicap hurdle win but has run some good races and comes here fit and well and the only horse running from his official rating. My Direction is only 5lbs 'wrong' and while his latest chase effort can be ignored (made a bad mistake and pulled up with a dislodged bridle), he was well beaten on Irish debut in a Flat maiden at Galway. Kylecrue, 17lbs wrong but ridden by a 3lbs claimer, has been in fine form but this is a step up in class while Knight's Parade is 8lbs wrong and is finding it difficult to win at present. Coolmill ran well latest but has plenty to find on ratings while Leavethelighton has been chasing recently and is now tried in first-time blinkers.
