FormscanBy Alan Magee - URBANIST won in the style of a much improved gelding over this trip at Punchestown last Sunday, and a 6lb hike for that victory may not be enough to prevent a quick follow up. The Shane Nolan-trained gelding travelled really well to lead before the last, and obviously handles heavy ground well. Cubomania also comes here in good form and is bidding for a hat-trick after recent wins at Down Royal and Tramore. The selection finished back in sixth in that Down Royal race on St Stephen’s Day but now enjoys a healthy swing at the weights. Azua Emery has been placed on all three maiden outings including behind stablemate Veneer Of Charm at Punchestown last Sunday, and Gordon Elliott won this with another juvenile (High Expectations) in 2015.
