Brendan Duke’s charge landed a Nursery at Dundalk last November, and has given plenty of encouragement since returning to action this season to suggest she can add to that tally. Rory Cleary again had her up with the pace when beating all bar Alans Pride in a 30-runner event at the Curragh on Monday, and she has been raised 2lb in future handicaps. Zeeyalater was rated in the high 70’s last autumn but has now dropped down to a competitive mark. His head-to-head record against the selection is 1-1 this term, although he may have had the better of the draw when coming out best of the pair behind Mo Henry at Naas. He could be worth a try over seven furlongs. Dandys Gold has won twice over seven furlongs this year but a creditable third to Music Box on her penultimate outing at Naas shows she’s also effective over this trip. Alfredo Arcano wasn’t beaten far in a valuable handicap at the Curragh earlier this term, and this represents a drop in class.
