When he was last seen in this discipline at Limerick over Christmas, he won by more than four lengths off a mark of 90. Jack Gilligan takes 7lb off his back, so he competes off the same mark now. He was in the process of running a solid race when last seen over fences at Limerick, but was badly hampered two out which ruined his race. Roderick hasn't shown much over hurdles, however, he returns in better form after a couple of decent performances on the Flat.
