FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Big names from the 'points' and hunter chase sphere everywhere you look here. Perhaps LONG STRAND could reward each-way support. He mightn't have been beating much but you couldn't but be impressed with him when victorious over the banks track at Lingstown in November. The course winner since won an open at Aghabullogue (beat Some Present who re-opposes here) and if he runs to his best he'll be hard to keep out of the frame. Goonyella is a lovely progressive youngster and he's a big contender here to follow up his Limerick Christmas win. Oscar Delta is one of the top hunter chasers in the country and he's almost certain to be bang there at the business end. The rest have work on to match those mentioned. Merchant Royal won it last year but it would be a surprise to me if he could follow-up.
