FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks an open contest but ULTRA LIGHT ran well enough last time out to suggest that she can win it. The Robbie Hennessy trained filly is a half-sister to top class stablemate Rubi Light and she should go close under Jane Mangan. She ran poorly on her debut at Punchestown on New Year's Eve but put in a much better effort last time out over the course and distance when finishing third to Carrigeen Lonicera and Kymin's Way. Dante's Vic was disappointing last time out but she has plenty of ability and she should also go close. Railway Zira is another not without her chance. She beat the useful Klepht on her debut at Killarney in July but ran very poorly on her next start at Galway. Vicky Miller is an interesting newcomer for Gordon Elliott. She is a half-sister to winners Askmeroe, Jack The Miller and Millrock Lady while she is a full-sister to Cloth Fair who won a maiden hurdle at Tramore in 2008. The Joe O'Keeffe trained Rosaflora and the Colin Bowe trained Lexion Lady are two others worth considering.
