FormscanBy Donal Murphy - RASHAAN is the stand out name in this six-runner contest, and he should be able to follow-up on his Grade 3 success at the Festival here in August. The likeable chestnut is a twelve time winner, and remarkably is still only a six-year-old. He beat Ornua by half a length here in August, and that one since gave the form a boost by winning on his next start at Roscommon. The Willie Mullins trained Minella Beau also won at the Festival, but he since disappointed at Listowel, and a much-improved performance will be needed from him if he is to feature here. The 133 rated Woods Well was fifth in the Thyestes last January, but has failed to make a significant impact in four starts since. He returns to action now for the first time since April, and it'll be interesting to see how he fares with Davy Russell booked to ride. Velocity Boy is a capable sort, and is another leading contender. He was second at Ballinrobe on his most recent effort, and can be expected to come on plenty for that performance.
